Angled midbass driver with a directional soft dome silk tweeter
Because the focused soft dome silk tweeter is placed right above the heart of the LEMS woofer driver, a point source is created combined with the omnidirectional behavior of the woofer. This results in perfect focus and placement.
The height of the tweeter above the woofer has been determined to obtain the optimum crossover frequency, so that the crossover filter could be kept very simple and does not require phase correction.
The carefully selected Scanspeak tweeter is connected to the cabinet by a thin aluminum rod and is housed in a double decoupled housing, which ensures minimal resonance.
