The pyramid-shaped cone provides an omnidirectional radiation with exceptional in-room near- and far-field power response.
Because we didn't have a spider, we could opt for this non-conventional shape where the motor is located just below the cone. In comparative tests where we applied the same technology but in combination with a classically shaped cone and directional driver arrangement, it appeared that an omni-directional arrangement combined with this cone shape could build a more realistic soundstage.
